I love rusty things, but what is it?

Hi - it's a cheap Chinese chiminea (try saying that quickly;)

According to the leaflet that came in the box, it was crafted (yes, 'crafted') in a part of China that used to be renowned for making cast iron Temple ornaments for the Emperor.

One feels, however, that if the Emperor's sacred statues has turned as rusty as this chiminea has after 18 months, there would have been a lot of Chinese craftsmen being publicly executed ;)
